We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us.
I am an extreme newbie in reference to Linux but wish to eventually make the switch from windows to Fedora Core 6. I have recently purchased an Acer Aspire (425WSMi laptop. I have installed XP and fedora Core 6 in dual boot, but have had no luck (or clue) installing linux drivers for the Realtek Network Card in FC6.
I have downloaded the linux driver from the realtek site and have uncompressed it and ran the makefile command, but with that completed I am utterly lost. I hope someone can help me with this simple request.
At this point I am running kernel 2.6 but cannot update without the network driver running.
